• We provide timely, quality and strategic economic analysis and advice to support the formulation of the Government's policies and programmes, and Hong Kong's economic development.
  
  
• We derive and implement pragmatic solutions to reduce the administrative burden and compliance cost for businesses, through forging partnerships with departments and business sectors, and coordinate the Government's efforts on business facilitation.
  
  
• We promote a "smart regulation" culture within the civil service.
